Antonio Garcia has been appointed Chief Nursing Officer for Community Hospital of Huntington Park effective Dec. 2.
Hospital CEO Hector Hernandez announced the appointment Nov. 25.
鈥淭ony brings to 色情五月天 vast experience as a CNO, leading not only a diverse array of nursing units, but also a variety of ancillary departments,鈥 Hernandez wrote in a memo to employees and medical staff.
鈥淗e will be an asset to Community Hospital of Huntington Park, 色情五月天 as a whole, and the communities we serve.
Garcia has served as CNO at several different hospitals, including:
- West Anaheim Medical Center, where he has served as CNO over the last few months;
- Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida (2022 to 2023);
- MemorialCare Health System, Long Beach (2018 to 2022);
- Emanuel Medical Center, Turlock, California (2018); and
- Doctors Hospital of Manteca, Manteca, California (2016 to 2018).
At Kaiser Permanente鈥檚 San Jose Medical Center, Garcia served four years as Service Director for a 29-bed Emergency Department and Urgent Care facility, serving patients in more than 63,000 visits annually.

He has been a champion for the patient experience, while advocating and ensuring that patients receive the safest care of the highest quality. He has demonstrated fiscal responsibility and good stewardship of organizational finances and resources, and he possesses a thorough understanding of California Title 22, CMS regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation program.
Garcia holds a master鈥檚 of science degree in nursing administration as well as a bachelor鈥檚 of science degree, both from the University of Houston. He is proficient in Spanish, and he holds several state and national nursing certifications.
